The American brand Matrix was founded in 1980 by a married couple Arnie and Sydell Miller. Arnie Miller already had 20 years of experience as a hairdresser. He knew his job well, loved taking care of hair, and saw a lot of new opportunities to improve both the services and the products, which is why he decided to create a line of professional products for beauty salons. Today, Matrix hair care is favoured by many hair stylists and strives to get one step further with every new product without putting unnecessary stress on the environment.

The brands portfolio includes for instance the popular Total Results High Amplify Matrix shampoo for volume, a protein conditioner from the same line, various Matrix hair dyes, popular natural line Matrix Biolage, or a Matrix silver shampoo that is especially great for people with blonde hair.
