Composition of the fragrance:
The scent opens with the spiritual aroma of resinous frankincense intertwined with floral notes of delicate lily of the valley and glorious rose. A rich heart of powdery orris and sweet jasmine balances against the balsamic depth of precious myrrh. The scent settles with a long-lasting and opulent finish with animalic civet and sensual musk, enriched by earthy patchouli, dry cedar wood, salty ambergris, creamy sandalwood and mossy oakmoss.
The story of the fragrance:
Created in 1983 by the legendary perfumer Guy Robert, Amouage Gold Man Eau de Parfum was the very first release from the brand. Robert famously considered this symphony of rare ingredients to be his crowning glory.
