The right steps are key
The foundation of good dental hygiene is the thorough removal of plaque from all areas of the tooth. “We should be brushing our teeth at least twice a day, in the morning after breakfast and in the evening before bed, not eating or drinking anything but water after that,” recommends dental hygienist Lucie Hronková, DiS., from Dental Office H33.
And don’t forget about the interdental spaces. “Once a day is enough. Your dental hygienist will teach you the correct technique and then check during regular visits to make sure your teeth stay clean and healthy for good,” says the dental hygienist.
