If you love makeup, the 70s and their looks are a must try. Soft pastel colours, fresh skin and a dramatic eyeliner is a combination that is both soft and outstanding! Whether you opt for a look in soft pinks or venture into bolder shades, pastel makeup always catches one's eye.

Pastel colours are playful, fresh and perfectly accentuate your natural beauty. Add a bold eyeliner for an outstanding makeup look. Whether you're looking for a subtle romantic look or want to experiment a little with colour, we've got you covered!

How to Create a Pastel 70's Makeup Look

Even out your complexion with a foundation, cover imperfections with a concealer and powder.

Step 1

Contour under the cheekbones with the darker shade from the NYX Professional Makeup 3 Steps To Sculpt palette. Use a highlighter on top of the cheekbones.

Step 2

Give your cheeks a healthy pop of colour with the L'Oréal Paris True Match Le Blush.

Step 3

Use the white NYX Professional Makeup Jumbo pencil to colour the lid and blend it out with your finger. This will enhance the colour of the pastel eyeshadow you apply afterwards.

Step 4

Using brush, apply the mauve shade Be Kind from the Makeup Revolution Power Shadow Palette on the white pencil and blend out towards the brow bone. Continue with a darker mauve shadow for a more intense colour.

Step 5

Apply L'Oréal Paris Panorama mascara for long and thick lashes.

Step 6

Draw a bold wing above the upper lashes with the Rimmel Glam' Eyes liquid eyeliner.

Step 7

Comb and set the brows using NYX Professional Makeup The Brow Glue.

Step 8

Finish the look with NYX Professional Makeup Lip Lingerie XXL lipstick in the shade Warm Up.

The mauve pastel shadows look absolutely divine. See for yourself in our video.
