About the brand Braun

Max Braun founded his company in Frankfurt in 1921. At that time, he manufactured radios. His flagship product? A radio-phonograph, which was truly unique for its time. In 1940, Braun patented its first foil electric shaver, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the brand – one that would soon become a leader in technical innovation across its areas of expertise.

Exceptional performance and long-lasting reliability have always gone hand in hand with high-quality, functional design — a philosophy that has earned Braun more than 100 international awards. With over 7,000 active patents, the brand continues to demonstrate its dedication to research, development, and technological excellence. This commitment to innovation is reflected across its entire portfolio.

Among its flagship products, Braun Silk Expert Pro 5 epilator stands out as a symbol of efficiency, beauty, and trusted performance — qualities equally embodied by the Braun Silk-épil 9. The same standards define every Braun IPL hair removal device, as well as the brand’s comprehensive range of grooming solutions for body care, beard styling, and hair care. Designed to make everyday routines simpler and more effective, Braun products combine precision engineering with user-focused innovation.
