Composition of the fragrance:
The fragrant concerto opens with a radiant and cooling wave of platinum aldehydes, sparkling bergamot oil, pear and somewhat unusual banana. Next comes the deep harmony of vanilla orchid, Indian jasmine grandiflorum, rum absolut and piquant cumin oil. The composition is rounded out by sustainably sourced Madagascar Bourbon vanilla, whose creamy, smoky, and rich, animalic notes are enhanced by intense AmberXtreme and a sweet praline accord. This combination closes with the Desire-Trigger accord, which gives the fragrance a deeply emotional tone.

Story of the fragrance:
Master perfumer Nelly Hachem-Ruiz and perfume designer Paul Guerlain are behind the creation of the 2026 fragrance Diesel Only Desire Metallic Vanilla. The face of the campaign is global ambassador, singer and Generation Z icon Dove Cameron. The sculptural bottle, made of clear glass and as smooth as human skin, draws inspiration from the shape of an orchid, a symbol of resilience and sensuality. The fragrance’s deep red hue evokes emotional intensity and passion, while the centre of the glass bottle is pierced by a bold, oval steel “D,” a nod to the rebellious spirit of the Diesel brand.
