Composition of the fragrance:
The introduction consists of freshly ground leaves of Thai basil with grapefruit and pepper tones of Timut Nepalese pepper. Earthy Haitian vetiver combines with the Georgywood molecule which adds a cedar character to the composition, and the delicate floral notes of Petalia. The middle notes feature Akigalawood® – a natural ingredient obtained from patchouli, reinforced with Indonesian patchouli oil and ambergris aroma of Ambrofix™.
Story of the fragrance:
Bois Imperial Eau de Parfum was created by world-renowned perfume designer Quentin Bisch who was inspired by Akigalawood® when working on it. "In combination with fresh spices, a woody composition was created with contrasts between patchouli and Thai basil," adds the fragrance's creator.
