Composition of the fragrance
The luxurious oriental Guerlain Vol de Nuit opens with surprisingly fresh and light notes which are dominated by aethereal green galbanum. The fragrance then develops with floral notes that include narcissus, violet, carnation, jasmine and rose. This blossoming combination perfectly underscores the confident and untouchable character of the whole composition. Long drydown then features woody notes which bring a bit of exotic uniqueness.
Story of the fragrance
Guerlain Vol de Nuit Eau de Toilette is part of the Patrimoine line of iconic fragrances that has been completed for more than a century by 5 generations of perfumers. Its purpose is to preserve the traditional art of perfumery.
The most sophisticated and mysterious fragrance of this line was created as an homage to the famous writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Its unique glass bottle is adorned with 69 bees – an iconic symbol of Guerlain.
