Medela Contact™ Nipple Shields help mums cope with the discomfort of breastfeeding, or provide a larger and more stable area for the baby to latch onto. Method of use:
Only use Medela breastfeeding guards when breastfeeding. Wash your hands thoroughly. Also wash your breasts and the surrounding skin. To improve the adhesiveness of the guard, wet with water. Push the tip of the guard almost inside out, grab the edges of the guard and place on the centre of the nipple. Wash and sterilise the guards regularly.

When choosing a suitable size, choose one that fits the nipple loosely.
