Composition of the fragrance
Agar wood is Montale’s typical ingredient. In Aoud Forest it meets an unexpected companion – the wet and salty note of sea water. Accords of bergamot and lemon evoke the sparkling surface of the water, while rosemary and ginger create the herbal yet spicy natural aspect of the fragrance. Roses, white musk and amber remind us that the perfumer Pierre Montale never abandons the traditions of the Arab world.
