The Parfums De Marly Valaya Eau de Parfum highlights femininity and the intimacy of forgotten ladies’ petticoats from the 18th century along with a deep breath of fresh air. It harks back to the heritage of the past, but naturally with the elegance of the modern woman, and demonstrated by the innovative ingredients.

Composition of the fragrance
First, bergamot encounters mandarin and soft white peach. Next, you will delight in the flood of orange blossom and notes of lily of the valley in the form of Nympheal™, with a creamy and slightly aquatic result, joined by Mahonial®, which evokes the freshness of white flowers and contributes to the fragrance’s staying power. To conclude, the woody notes of ambergris are roused through Ambrofix™, Akigalawood™ with notes of pepper, patchouli & agarwood and the composition’s mysterious spice – musk, to increase its sensuality.
Story of the fragrance
The name Valaya is more of an evocation than an expression of any kind of literal meaning. According to Julien Sprecher, the fragrance’s creator and the creative director and founder of Parfums de Marly, it is inspired by delicate femininity. It aims to evoke feelings of levity, freshness and modern, timeless elegance. As the final impression, the colour white was chosen for the visual as a symbol of purity.
