Composition of the fragrance:
The fragrance of Madame Rochas opens with intoxicating tones of lily of the valley and the slightly spicy aroma of neroli. Then the sweetly captivating accords of jasmine, which play a delicate symphony together with the sweet, intoxicating tuberose and the velvety powdery iris, draw attention to themselves. In its finale, the fragrance exudes warm, clean accents of musk that underline the sleek silhouette of the entire composition.
Story of the fragrance:
The Rochas Eau de Toilette symbolises the free, passionate woman who chooses her own direction in life. The long, tall, eight-edged bottle is inspired by 18th-century salt lamps, topped with a very elegant gold-plated lid and adorned with a clean, simple label on which Hélène herself is said to have written the name. An independent woman, nicknamed "La Belle Hélène", who was already running Maison Rochas at the age of 28.
