A rose-amber-oud extrait de parfum inspired by the olfactory soul of Saudi Arabia
Mountain-grown rose heritage meets the depth and structure of contemporary oriental perfumery. Swiss Arabian Enigma of Taif extrait de parfum celebrates Taif’s floral legacy through a concentrated profile that combines elegance, spice, soft smoke and ambered warmth without losing the rose’s central role.
- rose amber oud fragrance
- highlights Taif rose with saffron, osmanthus, caramel and resins
- unisex scent
Composition of the fragrance:
Taif rose sits at the centre, supported by saffron for spicy, slightly metallic and leathery warmth. Osmanthus adds a peachy floral tone, violet gives powdery softness and smoke introduces a darker effect. Amber, caramel, labdanum, oud, sandalwood, vetiver and resins form a warm, textured finish.
Story of the fragrance:
Taif roses bloom at around 1,700 metres above sea level in the Taif Mountains and are among Saudi Arabia’s most valued natural materials. Swiss Arabian builds Enigma of Taif around this heritage, referring to rose cultivation, rose distillation and the traditions connected with Taif rose water. In 2024, cultural practices linked to Taif roses were added to UNESCO’s Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
