Composition of the fragrance
Just like when entering the real Alhambra, you’ll be greeted by refreshing notes of fruit – namely tangerine, bergamot and lemon. Another corner of the garden delights your senses with slightly sweet, soft notes of peach and almond, and later releases them into the arms of opulent white flowers. Look up and see the jasmine, neroli and orange blossoms gently swaying in the breeze. Sandalwood, saffron, amber, musk, rum and cashmere wood then add a warm and soothing undertone.
Story of the fragrance
In 2012, the French brand Alexandre.J introduced a line which combines the influences of French baroque architecture and the deserts of the Orient. The line was named The Collector, and its fragrances are designed to evoke timeless travel, the heat of natural elements and a change of scenery. They’re sensual, sophisticated, and they invite your body and mind on a journey of discovery.
In 2016, French perfumer Amelie Bourgeois added Alexandre.J The Collector: Mandarine Sultane Eau de Parfum to the existing line. She created a fragrance inspired by Arabian gardens and the desire to find paradise.
