The abstract Figment Man is built around notes of sandalwood and pushes the boundaries of your imagination. You’ll detect wet soil, the warmth of animal fur and bright flashes of citrus. Geranium and pink pepper bring out its contours while vetiver, guaiac wood and balsamic notes of labdanum deepen the dark side of the entire composition.
Story:
Christopher Chong, creative director of Amouage, paints a holographic picture of a dreamy landscape inspired by his travels through Bhutan. He conjures up a dramatic land of rocky coast in subdued colours as if perceived through opera glasses. The image is obscured by layers of silky fabric and the floral embroidery of theatre costumes which slowly blend into the landscape as a garden in full bloom.
