Tutorial: Dark Halloween make-up look with Notino Beauty Box

In cooperation with a superb make-up artist, Asya Meytuv, we created this Halloween make-up look you can recreate using products from the autumn edition of Notino Beauty Box. This dark look with crimson and black lips and stitched up mouths looks glam and it will be perfect if you are not keen on complicated and „scary“ make-up looks.

What you find in the Beauty Box
  1. For that intense and dramatic look, use the Bourjois Khôl & Contour Extra Longue Tenue pencil to colour your upper and lower lid. This adds intensity to the eyeshadows and acts like a base.  Don’t forget to fill your waterline.  
  2. Using the black eyeshadow from Revolution Pro Colour Focus Palette Smoke & Mirrors palette, darken your upper and lower eyelids. Blend well all around your eye. And don’t worry about perection, a bit of a messy look is trendy. 
  3. Apply NYX Professional Makeup Suede Matte Lipstick to your lips. 
  4. Using the black Bourjois Khôl & Contour Extra Longue Tenue pencil as a lip liner, outline the lips and blend the pencil towards the middle. 
  5. Highilight your cheekbones using Catrice Maxim Giacomo In Colours brush and the highglihter from Gabriella Salvete Yes, I Do! palette. 
  6. Now you can add a bit of a „scary“ element. Draw a line from the corner of your lips using Bourjois Khôl & Contour Extra Longue Tenue pencil and then draw short strokes across it, to achieve the stitched up effect. 
  7. Add a few srpitz of Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray so ensure your make-up lasts all night.
