Neck and Décolletage
Are you trying to outsmart nature in every possible way and shave off the years (in appearance at least)? Then make sure your neck and décolletage don’t give you away. Wrinkles and sagging skin affect them too. And since the skin in these areas is thinner, finer and has fewer sebaceous glands compared to other parts of the body, it is less resistant to sunlight and other environmental factors.
This means that when you’re cleansing, moisturising and exfoliating your face, you need to extend the area of application downwards. And if you add something extra to this neck and décolletage care once in a while, such as a mask or a massage, you’ll see a pleasant change for the better.
Knees and Elbows
We know these are the driest parts of the body, but we kind of ignore them anyway! We find the largest layers of dead skin cells on the elbows and knees, so our first job is clear – say goodbye to them with a thorough body scrub, massaging and buffing the area for at least thirty seconds. Then add a generous amount of moisturising cream or lotion. And it certainly wouldn’t hurt to remember your elbows every time you apply hand cream.
