Composition of the fragrance
It starts with sweet citrus tones of bergamot and a pinch of pepper. The main ingredient of Rock Rose is “rock rose” which dominates after a while with its strong, warming fragrance. It is complemented by precious saffron and aromatic lavender. The base tones of this fragrance consist of sensual amber and earthy patchouli as well as vetiver and warming cocoa.
Story of the fragrance
Rock Rose is inspired by 18th century English gardens. Every household took pride in a lovely garden, and the aristocracy in particular would compete in cultivating the most exotic plants. Among those was the rock rose, imported to the cold English climate from the sunny Mediterranean.
