Composition of the fragrance:
The fragrance opens with sweetish fruity notes of pineapple and coconut. A floral concert of mimosa, strawflower, rose and iris follows. In closing, a sensuous and warm veil of sandalwood, myrrh, labdanum, benzoin and amber develops.
Story of the fragrance:
Perfume designer Francesca Bianchi created Sex and the Sea based on her personal memory of the scent of her own skin after days spent by the seaside. When years later she encountered the fragrance of strawflower, images of salty, tanned skin, summer and desire awoke in her. She transformed this motif into a perfume extract that captures human warmth. Thus, a fragrance was created that combines the innocence of a memory with courageous sensuality.
