Composition of the fragrance
The opening of the composition delights your senses with pelargonium and precious saffron. The heart reveals notes of agar and cedar wood, accompanied by Bulgarian rose. The base, which lingers on the skin for the longest time, features notes of leather, incense and guaiac wood.
Story of the fragrance
Guerlain Oud Essentiel, which first saw the light of day in 2017, is part of Les Absolus d'Orient – a collection based on top-quality natural ingredients. All the fragrances from this collection were inspired by the Orient, which is also reflected in the luxurious bottles. Its exceptional composition is the work of the talented perfumer Thierry Wasser.
