Composition of the fragrance
The Guerlain Shalimar Souffle Intense welcomes you with fresh green notes which gradually give way to the shining heart composed of the white blossoms of Sambac jasmine with the sweet essences of orange blossom. Deep inside, in the base of the perfume, hides the gourmand combination of Tahitian and Madagascar vanilla, underscored by the sensuous benzoin.
Story of the fragrance
More than 400 years ago, an Indian emperor and his wife were bound together by love that surpassed all limits. To celebrate his beloved, the emperor built the opulent Shalimar gardens where they could spend time together. This fairy tale later inspired the creation of the legendary Eau de Parfum by Guerlain.
