- floral and animalistic chypre fragrance
- for a modern, daring woman who likes to be the centre of attention
- ideal for evening occasions and colder months
Composition of the fragrance
A bouquet of blood-red roses is underscored by the provocative and animalistic note of castoreum enhanced by earthy patchouli. Creamy tuberose petals are immersed in a sweet accord of vanilla and tonka bean to counterbalance the freshness of blackcurrant.
Story of the fragrance
Mad Madame is part of the range of the independent Italian niche perfume house Juliette Has a Gun – a personal project of Romano Ricci, the grandson of the famous Nina Ricci. The Juliette Has a Gun line was inspired by probably the most well-known Shakespeare’s tragedy – that being said, Romano Ricci’s Juliet is considerably wilder. The modern Juliet is armed (symbolising women’s emancipation as well as the fragrance itself), but still as feminine and captivating as ever.
