A kaleidoscopic floral amber scent with sweetness at its core and oud beneath
Bright, floral and sweet at first, darker and deeper as it settles – Miller Harris Scherzo eau de parfum builds like a shifting scene, full of changing colours and textures, where flowers bloom against warmth and sugar dissolves into wood. It feels expressive, sensual and deliberately extravagant.
- floral amber scent combining peony, rose and gourmand sweetness
- layers bright fruit and florals over patchouli and oud richness
- unisex eau de parfum suitable for vegans
Composition of the fragrance:
Tangerine brings brightness while davana adds fruity warmth with a subtle boozy edge. Rose, peony, narcissus, olibanum and pittosporum build a floral heart that feels layered and expansive. Oud, patchouli, vanilla and sweet notes settle into a deep, warm and addictive trail.
Story of the fragrance:
Launched in 2018, Scherzo was the first Miller Harris fragrance to draw directly from literature. Inspired by a passage in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Tender Is the Night, perfumer Mathieu Nardin translated Fitzgerald’s vision of kaleidoscopic flowers and sugared petals into scent. Its name refers to a musical term – a short, vivid extract from a larger composition – reflecting the fragrance’s expressive, symphonic structure.
