Composition of the fragrance:
The first impression blends rosewood with davana, saffron, plum and almond milk, giving the fragrance a fruity, aromatic and softly creamy start. Tuberose, sambac jasmine, osmanthus, rose, narcissus and immortelle form a dense floral layer with sensual, honeyed and sunlit facets. Benzoin, myrrh and styrax deepen the mood, while orris fusion, cashmere fusion, suede, vetiver, amber and musk create a plush textured base with earthy and musky undertones.
Story of the fragrance:
Nobile 1942 Il Giardino Delle Delizie Extrait de Parfum takes inspiration from The Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch, exhibited at the Prado Museum in Madrid. The triptych is known for its complex symbolism, where humanity appears surrounded by vice, pleasure and consequence. The fragrance focuses especially on the central panel, where love, pleasure and desire are represented through exotic animals, bodies, fruits and surreal abundance. Its evening mood follows that idea of a world where everything is allowed, before darker resinous and animalic nuances suggest the contrast and tension present in the painting.
