What I liked most: a light texture that blends perfectly with your skin and balances its tone. At the same time, Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation is almost invisible. So, you can boast a perfectly natural complexion all day long. And I love that!
Advantages: The best foundation for dry skin which does not accentuate wrinkles, and thanks to vitamin C, vitamin E and B5, it brightens and hydrates. And even on the hottest days, it doesn't budge. Bourjois really knows how to make beauty products.
Disadvantages: A strong fresh fruit fragrance which I personally don’t mind at all, but some people might.
What I liked most: As a girl who doesn't have time to waste, I love things that can handle multiple tasks at once. So I truly appreciate primer, concealer, BB cream and highlighter all in one. Just turn the applicator a few times and watch how the highlighter and BB cream merge in front of your eyes. A miracle!
Advantages: Ease of application. Maybelline Instant Perfector 4-in-1
apply directly to your face with the applicator and work it in with your fingers (like I do) or a brush, to make sure no highlighter glitter is left behind. The foundation is not visible on your face at all, in fact you look like you've just had two weeks of daily facial treatments.
Disadvantages: Traces of highlighter may be left on your face if you're not careful and don't blend everything in perfectly. And shiny skin, which I personally love, may not be to everyone’s taste.
What I liked most: Flawless and long-lasting coverage with a matte effect. The reviewer also looked into how waterproof the foundation is. It didn't move even under a stream of water and I had to remove it with cleansing oil.
Advantages: If you are after a Photoshop-like face, Catrice HD Liquid Coverage is the best coverage foundation you can get from a chemist’s. It does not clog pores, so it is perfect for problematic skin.
Disadvantages: It can form marks on dry skin after a few hours, but this is the price of it being so long lasting. Just use a more nourishing cream underneath and the problem will be solved.
What I liked most: Skin that looks like its been “put through” an Instagram filter can be achieved with NYX Professional Makeup Bare With Me Blur Tint foundation. It simply smooths pores and skin thanks to nourishing ingredients such as glycerine, matcha and niacinamide.
Advantages: This product is available in a practical tube, so it is easy to dispense, which prevents waste – and waste is something I don’t like at all. Its light, creamy texture is easily absorbed and layers beautifully, so you can choose the coverage you need.
Disadvantages: It does not last as long on oily skin as I would like.
What I liked most: I am a big fan of foundation full of ingredients beneficial for my skin. And, I am glad that there are some in the more affordable category. Hyaluronic acid guarantees long-term hydration, and therefore also a lovely shine.
Advantages: L’Oréal Paris True Match Nude Plumping Tinted Serum blends perfectly with your skin, is easy to work with and does not dry out. Just be careful not to touch your skin with the pipette, you could introduce various bacteria and impurities into the bottle.
Disadvantages: The foundation is very light which is something I like, but it might not be enough for someone who needs greater coverage.
