Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm

What I liked the most: I totally love Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm. I really love it and have used up dozens of the product. I always buy the darkest shade, Red Dahlia, but don't be fooled – because the colour is slightly translucent, it looks beautifully natural. And yes, it really is easy to apply even without a mirror.

Advantages: A great addition to make-up, as well as on days when I'm not wearing any make-up at all and just want to brighten up my pale face. It hydrates my lips nicely, and if I don't eat anything, it lasts a good few hours. Plus, I find the fragrance addictive. It's subtle, sweet, and very pleasant—it reminds me of sugar gum.

Disadvantages: If I were to point to a weakness, it would be the packaging. There isn't much product in there. And the lid is tiny. It's hard to take off and there's barely a way to grab it. And I am a handy person!

Avène Couvrance High Definition

What I liked the most: No matter which mascara we're talking about, I always prefer a rubber brush. Luckily Avène Couvrance High Definition mascara has one! It separates and defines eyelashes beautifully and gives each one intense colour.

Advantages: The words natural mascara probably don't make you expect great reviews. This one is specially developed for sensitive eyes, allergy sufferers, and contact lens wearers—but I have to say that it passed with flying colours in this regard! I don't usually have particularly sensitive eyes, but I sometimes wear contact lenses, and that's a different story altogether. Some time ago, the combination of lenses and mascara started to cause burning, dryness, and redness, but with this one, nothing like that happened. It's a big win, and I'll definitely buy it again. I was also afraid that it would smudge or leave marks, but that didn't happen!

Disadvantages: This mascara adds colour rather than creating a big wow effect. It slightly lengthens eyelashes, but don't expect a lot of volume. However, it is important to remember that it's designed for sensitive eyes, so its greatest strengths lie elsewhere.

Apivita Oily Roots & Dry Ends Balancing Conditioner

What I liked the most: Apivita Oily Roots & Dry Ends Balancing Conditioner left my hair smooth but, above all, beautifully airy and fluffy. I have fine hair which gets lank easily, so I appreciate this!

Advantages: Just a small amount of the product is enough to spread along my entire hair lengths, so one pack lasts for quite a long time. Of course, it depends on how much hair you have. After washing, it was really easy to comb. In addition, this natural conditioner has a pleasant, subtle, fresh fragrance.

Disadvantages: The product is intended specially for dry ends and greasy roots. Out of interest, I tried to apply it to my roots, but the results were (unsurprisingly) not impressive. My hair was lank at my scalp.

Saloos Cold Pressed Oils Extra Bio Argan

What I liked the most: I like to treat myself to a gua sha massage sometimes, and with Saloos Cold Pressed Oils Extra Bio Argan it was really pleasant. It is also suitable for the eye area, so I could include it in the massage without worrying about irritation. It also hydrates really well!

Advantages: It's a multitasker, which I always appreciate. You can use this argan oil on your face, body, hair, and, as I mentioned, even around your eye area. So, in theory, I don't need to use a separate eye cream, which is fantastic! Imagine how great a product like this is for traveling. One bottle and you're all set for skin, hair, and body care.

Disadvantages: I admit that I have rather combination skin, and this product is designed specifically for very dry skin. I have tried facial oils instead of cream in the past, and they didn't work very well for me. Still, I wanted to try this one because of how highly it is praised. I will definitely come back to it when my skin is drier, it's a miracle!

Dr. Feelgood BIO and RAW castor oil

What I liked the most: Dr. Feelgood BIO and RAW castor oil is able not only to nourish skin, it also promotes eyebrow and eyelash growth, and after about a month of use, my eyebrows really did become slightly thicker! I didn't test it on my eyelashes because I didn't want to risk getting it in my eyes.

Advantages: As I've mentioned, you can use it for your face, hair, body... Apart from hydration, it is also supposed to improve the appearance of scars and stretchmarks. You are also getting top-quality oil at a great price.

Disadvantages: It's too thick for me and harder to work with. Plus, it takes a long time to absorb—it leaves greasy spots on my skin, but that might just be my skin type. It has a distinct fragrance, but that's normal for raw oils.

Weleda Wild Rose & White Tea Smoothing Day Cream

What I liked the most: Roses and white tea? It's such a divine combination that it's a shame to use it "only" in face cream! I'd also like it in the form of body cream, shower gel, perfume... Or perhaps a delicate drink or dessert? Preferably all of the above! I'm really excited about this fragrance.

Advantages: Weleda Wild Rose & White Tea smoothing day cream has a pleasant texture which is nourishing as well as light, and leaves skin smooth and soft. It really brightens my skin and makes it look fresh, and even my first wrinkles seem a little smoother. What's more, it spreads easily, so you only need to use a small amount.

Disadvantages: I don't really like that there's alcohol denat in the formula. I generally try to avoid it in facial beauty products because I have rather sensitive skin. Needless to say, though, I did not feel any negative effects during use.
