You can also boost your hair’s health and growth from the inside. Try food supplements for hair and focus mainly on group B vitamins, zinc, silicon and iron. Correct, regular care at the hairdresser’s to prevent hair fatigue and damage is also important. Regular scalp stimulation using scalp massage brushes can also help.
From the outside, your dream of faster hair growth can be supported by special hair growth products, hair growth activators or hair serums. Thanks to their composition, they will care for your scalp, nourish it, and stimulate blood circulation. They also activate and strengthen hair roots, and promote the growth of hair follicles. What I liked the most: A pleasant fragrance that lasts long after washing, lathers up nicely. New hair growth started to appear after about a month of use. And the price is nice too.
Pros: Practical packaging that you can take with you anywhere. For faster hair growth, it works great in combination with a booster from the same brand. Plantur 21 #longhair nutri-caffeine shampoo lathers up nicely, a very small amount is enough for one wash. I noticed the first change after about 6 washes, my hair started to be shinier. New hair appeared on my entire head after about four to five weeks and continued to grow, not fall out.
Cons: Quite a small pack, but lasts for about a month if you combine it with other shampoos and use this caffeine shampoo twice a week. Some people may be bothered by the fact that you have to leave the product on for 2 minutes. I generally have a sensitive scalp and it became itchy after about 4 washes.
What I liked the most: Personally, I found the fresh fragrance very pleasant and it made my hair feel cleaner after washing. My hair seemed thicker and firmer even after the first wash.
Pros: L’Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Serioxyl shampoo washes both your hair and scalp very well. It contains magnesium which helps cleanse the roots of various deposits and impurities, supporting optimum hair growth. Hair is more voluminous and stronger after washing and does not get greasy for quite a long time (compared to other shampoos that promote hair growth). After about a fortnight, my hair started to grow back faster, became less greasy and my scalp calmed down beautifully. For me, this is the best hair growth shampoo I have ever tried.
Cons: I didn’t find any.
What I liked the most: Alfaparf Milano Il Salone Milano Scalp System contains natural ingredients and prebiotics, is vegan, and apart from promoting hair growth, it also prevents hair loss which really worked for me.
Pros: My hair was stronger after a few washes (after two weeks of use to be precise) and my sensitive scalp was not affected. The shampoo suited me so I bought another pack and after a month I started to find a lot of new hair growth, in addition my original hair not only grew faster but was also stronger. This is most likely due to the rambutan contained in the shampoo. Another advantage of the tested shampoo is definitely its pleasant price. It can also be perfectly combined with Alfaparf Milano Il Salone Milano Scalp System energising serum for hair loss from the same line.
Cons: I didn’t find the fragrance very pleasant, and you have to wait a minute or two for the shampoo to work before you rinse it off.
What I liked the most: It is kind to sensitive scalps. After about a month or a month and a half, the first new hair growth appeared and had nice volume at the roots. My hair was also firmer and “more lively” in general.
Pros: This treatment is very easy to apply and besides thickening my hair from the roots, during the application of Vichy Dercos Densi Solutions my hair grew faster than usual (almost two centimetres in one month). The composition is enriched with the molecule stemoxydine, which increases the number of new hairs. Overall, my hair was stronger and looked healthier after the treatment..
Cons: I didn’t find any. On the contrary, I discovered the amazing Vichy Dercos Densi Solutions thickening shampoo thanks to the test, and I have been using it ever since.
What I liked the most: After just a few applications, it made my hair visibly healthier and stronger. After the bottle was used up, the growth of new hairs started and the original ones were visibly thicker and shinier.
Pros: Kérastase Résistance Sérum Extentioniste surprised me with its quick effectiveness in terms of healing hair from the roots. After about four applications of the serum, after washing and towel drying my hair, my fine hair with highlights started to look shinier, stronger and healthy looking. At the same time, my hair lifted up from the roots and after a month of using the serum, new hair growth started to appear on my entire head.
Cons: Sometimes a drop would fall from the pipette elsewhere than on my hair (on the way from the bottle to my head), so I recommend you learn to apply it with more skill than I did so you don’t waste a single drop. And some people might also be discouraged by the higher price (for 50 ml).
What I liked the most: The treatment has a pleasant energising fragrance, contains ginseng, certified turmeric and amla (thickens, lifts hair at the roots). In my opinion, it really makes fine hair thicker, which also grows faster.
Pros: It is easy to apply thanks to the pump, hair is soft and lifted at the roots after application and a gentle massage, it is not significantly oily afterwards, and Aveda Invati Advanced™ Scalp Revitalizer does not irritate a sensitive scalp in any way. Based on my experience, hair falls out less thanks to the revitalizer, also it is beautifully nourished and does not get lank. About halfway through the bottle, I noticed new hair growth as well as faster growth of my existing hair.
Cons: I didn’t find any downside.
