Dry shampoo reviews
Batiste Heavenly Volume

What I liked most: It promises volume, it delivers volume!
Advantages: I like the retro packaging, I like the price, I even like the fragrance, and I especially like the effect of the Batiste Heavenly Volume dry shampoo. The amount of “powder” released by the spray is just right. You just need a moment, then you can comb it out. I have dark hair, and it doesn’t leave you with that greyish dust that some dry shampoos unfortunately do. The volume is great and it makes your hair easy to work with; the dry shampoo also works as a styling aid and helps to lift and set the hair at the same time. And I bravely tried using it two days in a row. In the morning, it was still handling things easily; by the afternoon, though, I couldn’t handle it and had to have a shower.
Disadvantages: None that I know of.
Aveda Shampowder™ Dry Shampoo

What I liked most: I didn’t use to use dry shampoo very often, but since testing it, I’ve changed my mind! Aveda Shampowder™ Dry Shampoo really delivers what it promises – my hair is fluffy and fresh after using it.
Advantages: I was surprised that my hair actually had body after using the dry shampoo and, like after washing, it also added volume to my hair. I also like the fact that the shampoo contains 99% ingredients of natural origin – clay absorbs sebum from the hair and scalp and tapioca starch gives it body. Plus the shampoo smells nice! It’s quick and easy to use; just don’t forget to put the cap back on the nozzle afterwards so you don’t end up shampooing the whole bathroom when you squeeze the bottle like I did.
Disadvantages: The price perhaps, but just wait until it’s on offer. Plus, this is an investment that really pays off.
