Eye Patches: Reviews
Heimish Bulgarian Rose
What I liked best: The fragrance of rose? Wow! Actually, the whole design. It's all so cute and girly and instafriendly. There are sixty hydrogel eye patches in the pot, so you're in for a total of thirty delightful treatments that you'll really enjoy.
Advantages: Don't be afraid of them, even if you have a sensitive eye area. The Heimish Bulgarian Rose hydrogel eye mask smells very intensely, but it's really gentle. It's pleasantly cools and after removal the eye area is brightened and nicely toned. And that's exactly what I expect from a disposable eye mask. It also comes with a tiny spoon, which makes it easy to take the patch out of the pot without having to fish it out with your fingers. Then you just pop it under your eyes and enjoy your half hour of rest.
In addition to rose water, which you can feel as soon as you take off the lid, it also contains centella asiatica extract to promote regeneration, niacinamide to reduce wrinkles and castor oil to provide hydration and nourishment.
Disadvantages: The smell of rose may be too strong for some, but it suited me.
Jayjun Eye Gel Patch Green Tea
What I liked best: Again, I was blown away by the smell. You really want green tea on your skin. I felt super relaxed and relieved before I even put the patches on. They felt nice and cool under my eyes, stayed in place, and I dare say the dark circles that appeared after a sleepless night were much less noticeable after taking them off. For me, these are the best Korean eye pads! Moreover, the Jayjun brand is my favourite. I can't get enough of the Okra Phyto Mucin line.
Advantages: The Jayjun Eye Gel Patch Green Tea hydrogel eye mask for brightening and hydrating is really "supercharged". In addition to green tea extract, it also contains niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. And there is a small spoon for that makes it easy to take the patches out of the pot.
And lest I forget. I always massage the rest of the product into my skin under my eyes with a massage tool, specifically a roller, to make sure the result is top notch. The skin under the eyes is then pleasantly plumped and refreshed, and the blood flow there is stimulated.
Disadvantages: Occasionally leaves a bit of a residue on the skin.
