Top Eyebrows
Tame unruly eyebrows, add volume, enhance colour - all this can be done with small but handy mascaras and brow gels. Even so, it pays off to improve the condition of your eyebrows every now and then. See a beautician for quick eyebrow styling, or try it at home. It's actually not rocket science.
- Determine the shape. All you need is a pencil, even a writing pencil. Place it perpendicular to the bridge of your nose - that's where your eyebrows should start. Then curve it diagonally across the centre of your eye - this should be the highest point of the arch. Finally, turn it to the outer corner of your eye - that's where your eyebrows should end. Mark the points with a concealer, for example.
- Get trimming. Brush your eyebrow hairs upwards with an eyebrow brush. For those that needlessly overhang the natural line, simply trim them with special eyebrow scissors.
- And now for the tweezers. By following the marked points, gradually get rid of the hairs that simply don't belong there. If it hurts too much, try stretching your skin with your fingers. And take the hairs out one at a time.
- Take care. When you're done, treat your eyebrows with a soothing gel (aloe vera is awesome) or a face toner. And then you can pat yourself on the back. You're done.
