Amazing bob cut hairstyles for kindergarten, school, dance class or a day trip? We know how to make them! Soon you will too. Practice well in advance, so you can take one worry out of the morning rush of the school year.

Do you have a little lady at home who has decided to get a bob haircut? This definitely doesn't mean that she can only have loose hair all the time now. We've prepared playful and stylish hairstyles which are just made for shorter hair. Half-bun with a braid, a different version of ponytails, or little buns with braids? Try them all. You just need normal hair accessories, and a spray for the final hair styling.

How to make a half-bun with a braid

  1. Comb your hair thoroughly or brush it with a paddle brush.
  2. Brush the top part of your hair (roughly in the line of the ends of the eyebrows) upwards and plait it into a French braid. Just start with a classic braid and gradually add more strands from the sides.
  3. When you get to the top of your head, fasten your hair with a hairband to make a classic ponytail.
  4. Backcomb your hair in the ponytail with a brush, and set it with hairspray.
  5. Then, twist it into a messy bun and secure it with hairpins.

How to make playful ponytails

  1. Comb your hair thoroughly and make a parting in the middle.
  2. On each side, make a half ponytail of hair from the parting to about the top of the ears and secure both ponytails with a hairband.
  3. Then, add more strands to both ponytails, and secure them ideally with a transparent hairband.
  4. Little "bobs" will be created which you can pull out slightly with your fingers to make them larger.
  5. Fasten the ends of both ponytails with hairbands.

How to make cute "bobs" with braids

1. Comb your hair thoroughly and make a centre parting.

2. Separate a thin strand of hair on each side of the front and make a ponytail.

3. Pin the one on the right side to the other side for a moment with a hairpin so that it doesn't get tangled. Then create another ponytail underneath, roughly the same thickness. Repeat on the other side.

4. Turn the upper ponytails into classic braids, and fasten them to the lower ponytails with a hairband.

5. Use your fingers to stretch both braids to make them more voluminous.

6. Make a simple bun at the ends of both ponytails and fasten it with an elastic band.
