Prevention and care
The delicate skin around the eyes is the most susceptible to visible signs of fatigue, but also to the first wrinkles. So step zero will always be targeted care for this sensitive area. From the age of twenty-five, I recommend incorporating eye cream or gel into your skincare routine, especially if you keep wearing makeup and removing it. Using a suitable cream with SPF all year round is, of course, a must.
Colour neutralisation
And now we can put on our make-up. The first step is to reach for a colour corrector in a shade on the opposite end of the colour spectrum. Our dark circles under the eyes are usually blue and green, so they can be cancelled out by a corrector in a warm salmon colour. Feel free to mix the right one to suit you. Please note that the product should be applied only on the tinted part of your skin, i.e. in the groove near the inner corner. This step will help prevent dark circles from shining through later in the day.
