Advanced technology
Braun’s electric shavers feature the AutoSense smart ultrasound technology. This means that the shaver monitors the thickness and density of your hairs, evaluates them and adapts to them automatically. It is then able to increase the shaver’s output in order to shave the thickest hairs with fewer strokes. The Model Series 9 also features 10,000 sonic vibrations, which means it slides more effortlessly over your skin. Braun also pays attention to the perfect synchronisation of the shaving elements in order for the shaver to be able to trim your beard in one stroke, with almost no irritation caused. As a result, various models work with 3 or 5 shaving elements which protect your skin, follow your beard line perfectly and deliver a great shave. These elements are placed in three individual floating blades which adapt better to the shape and contours of your face. The Braun Series 7 also boasts a 360° Flex floating head. As the name suggests, it can move in all directions. In combination with its floating blades, this shaver delivers a perfect shave with minimal effort.
Dry, wet or with foam
It’s completely up to you whether you want to have a dry or wet shave, or even use foam. Braun’s electric shavers are waterproof and can be used in the shower or rinsed under running water. Do you prefer to use a gel or foam? These shavers work just as well with foam, with no reduction in their effectiveness. Quite the opposite, in fact! Using them while shaving softens your skin, making it less prone to irritation. If you still prefer to shave without foam, we recommend not washing your face before shaving it – our skin tends to puff up slightly after being washed and can be more sensitive.
SmartCare cleaning centre
Further technological progress. That’s how we could describe Braun’s SmartCare cleaning centre, which can charge, lubricate and clean your electric shaver. You can choose from 5 settings, including intelligent cleaning programme selection. With regular maintenance, your shaver will remain as good as new. A lemon-scented solution cleans your shaver hygienically – it removes beard hair remnants and skin particles whilst also lubricating the blades, ensuring a great shave every time. One hour of charge often gives you a week of shaves.
