The fragility of twilight, the warmth of the night
There is a short moment when the sky dons a deep blue veil after sunset, and the world seems to pause for a moment. This "blue hour" is captured by GUERLAIN L'Heure Bleue women's Eau de Parfum. Sparkling freshness is gradually replaced by velvety smoothness and warm sweetness. This elegant, powdery-floral fragrance thus combines the delicacy of twilight with the promise of all that the night has to offer.
- amber-floral fragrance with vanilla undertones
- created by perfume designer Delphine Jelk
- inspired by the iconic L'Heure Bleue fragrance from 1912
Composition of the fragrance:
The L'Heure Bleue fragrance plays with the contrast between sparkling freshness and velvety smoothness. In the beginning, it seems light and radiant like the sky during blue hour, but gradually, subtle iris appears to give the composition an elegant, smooth character. Its tenderness combines with warm vanilla to create a soft fragrant impression that seems ever so addictive.
Story of the fragrance:
The fleeting moment between day and the night – this very moment inspired Jacques Guerlain in 1912 to create the original L'Heure Bleue. Perfume designer Delphine Jelk built on his legacy with the same spirit of tenderness and intimacy, seeking to capture in the fragrance the sensation of time standing still for a moment. The twilight theme is also reflected in the iconic bottle, whose colour transitions from light to dark blue. Just like the fragrance itself, it captures the magic of the moment when light fades slowly and evening is just beginning.
